Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation Cleanup & Fundraiser

A few members of the Weatherly Crew got the opportunity to kayak Batiquitos Lagoon in Encinitas as part of their annual lagoon cleanup & fundraiser. The waters of Batiquitos Lagoon are typically closed to boating, so it was such a privilege to explore the area via kayak, while gathering trash harmful to its delicate ecosystem. A big thank you to the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation for putting on such a great event, and for your continued dedication to the stewardship of the lagoon.
